Our outdoor wood painted signs are created on the best quality MDO (Medium Density Overlay) exterior plywood. These signs are extremely durable, highly versatile, and are ideal for commercial, industrial, land and retail applications. These custom project signs can be made any size to your specifications.

MDO Wood Painted Sign boards are made of high quality plywood with the same adhesives used in marine plywood. A special hardwood face veneer - sanded before the overlay is applied - minimizes wood grain show-through, even after it's painted. The tough overlay is a high fiber sheet which has been treated with a resin formula for optimal paint adhesion yielding superior surface performance and much longer life than other wooden sign materials.

Our select MDO brand also features solid inner plys and a tight core gap which means fewer and smaller edge voids for greater weather resistance. No other wood painted sign stays as smooth for as long. Although the wooden panel itself is sealed at the factory with commercial primer and paint, the lettering and graphics are produced in vinyl and applied to the painted surface resulting in a premium quality wood painted sign.
